Re: Gate only operates on Mains supply

This is a SL100 PCB. Its a low access type and can only run on battery. The battery connects directly to the motor speed control circuit on the PCB. The battery is continuously charged from a small mains transformer which is not big enough to drive the motor directly. When the mains power goes off t...

Re: Gate only operates on Mains supply

You don't say what type of motor it is. Some of the older types have a mains / battery change over relay that can get stuck in the mains position. Also check that the battery is charging.

Re: DTS Motor doesn't stop

From your description it sounds like the PCB MOSFET transistor is blown (shorted). This controls the motor speed and when damaged it no longer has control of the motor (it just runs at full speed).
if correct the only remedy is to return the PCB to one of our distributors for repair or replacement.

Re: Access to users with valid cellphone number

In "missed call" mode access times and days of week can be programmed from the portal or by sms. portal programming, just enter access details including time and day of week. SMS programming just send a programming sms using the F2A or ADDNUM command with the access number, from/to time + day of wee...

Re: Gate gives 4 beeps when programming

4 beeps is the stall alarm (not moving when it should be) check the 25A fuse.

Re: PCB3044G BFT

What happens when it tries to open, do you get any alarms or message codes. First thing to do is make sure that the gate is mechanically free to move in both directions. If not a mechanical problem then the fault is probably on the PCB, possibly one of the direction relays or one of the motor commut...

Re: Airtime

In "Missed Call" mode only alarm and command acknowledgement SMS's will use airtime. Data costs are incurred for time synchronizing every 24 hours but this should be less than R0.01 per day. Downloading the access list to the device will also use data but again depending on size should not be more t...

Re: Dts 500 expert problem

There is no master reset. 20 beeps indicates that the motor has stalled due to mechanical overload or insufficient power to drive the load. does the motor attempt to turn when you trigger the gate? Is the battery ok and charged? Are the battery leads and connections OK? Is the female power connector...

Re: Dts 500 expert problem

20 beeps indicates a motor overload. Check that the motor turns freely by turning the motor shaft (magnet) by hand. With the gearbox disengaged move the gate open and closed buy hand and make sure there are no tight spots. Check that the main PCB automotive fuse is OK and check that the PCB current ...

Re: Gcom520 connection to Energizer

The Gcom520 alarm input is optically isolated and can take any DC input between 3 and 32V. The simplest way to connect to a fence energizer is simply to connect the energizers siren to the Gcom input, IE siren + to input + and siren - to input CMN. If the energizer siren switches on for a short time...
