I assume my gate motor is the DTS 500, when it rained and you open the gate, then close it, it opens again on it's own after a few seconds, this only happens after rain.
I have noticed it moves past the auto stop in this situation.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Depending on the gate setup the motor can sometimes run a little faster when it is raining and overrun the closed limit switch. If this is the case then adjust the limit back a few mm so that the gate stops before the dead stop.
Thank you, the motor uses the spring limit actuator, usually it stops about 1cm before the post, when it has rained, it goes past the 1cm stop and hits the post, it seems as if it somehow does not detect the closing stop point/actuator even though the spring touches the actuator.
When everything dried up, all is normal again.
